Anyone have any experience with aftermarket savage triggers? I like a nice light trigger pull but the acutrigger on my .338 & .204 don't work all that we'll if I wear gloves, unless I set the trigger heavy. The glove seems to push on the trigger before the safety lever is down and all I get is a click. I'm thinking I'll just swap them out to something a little more winter friendly

I use rifle basix triggers in all of my rifles that didn't come with a precision target trigger.........they work great and are adjustable from a few ounces to 1.5 pounds.....short of that cut the trigger finger off of your glove, its a cheaper easier solution

I think I'll try out a rifle basix. As for cutting the fingers off the glove I already have a pair that the trigger finger flips open that I use on warmer days, but for some strange reason I still like to go shoot even in -30 and my finger seem to go numb go figure.

Rifle Basix X3, or is it 4 by now? Not only are they great triggers but their customer service is excellent. I needed a circlip to replace the one I lost and they sent me the clip plus extra parts FREE. Great people to deal with.

^^^^ I'll second that. The Timney was a huge upgrade over the factory trigger on my Savage 11. This was a non-accutrigger model. Once you get it adjusted properly you might wonder why you didn't get it earlier...
