Aftermarket sig sight question

extra high or Supressor height as most people call it is for...well suppressor equipped gun or for owner that has mounted a red dot on top and wants to co-witness it in case when the red dot fails.

Other than that, they serve no other purpose and the extra money can be put to use in terms of ammo.
