XS sights on the 1895G - question re front sight picture
Need some directions here....coming back to sporting rifles after a long time and my experiences have mostly been with open sights on BRNO/Rigbys and Express sights on double rifles.
The only rifles that I've used with peep sights were the M1, M14 and Enfields and, I now find the attained sight picture on my 1895G a bit different (just me perhaps?)
This, in the sense, that I get to see the entire front sight component including the ramp through the ghost ring - I do realize that one solely needs to visually concentrate on the top of the front sight post and simply align that with intended point of aim - however, I'm also assuming that with the XS sight design the shooter will also be aware of the entire front sight i.e. ramp + post both?
Thanks,
