Aftermarket stocks

Can anyone recommend a replacement stock for a Vanguard? I would prefer a drop-in stock as I have no DIY skills with handtools

IIRC, the Boyd's website recently had a super deal on a deluxe-looking walnut stock for the Vanguard/Howa rifles.

yes they do, i ordered a stock about a month ago from them.

When I ordered mine they would only let me order the semi-inletted because it was under the maximum they are allowed to ship.

Their semi-inletted is very close to a perfect fit and only really needs some light sanding to make it fit. No tools needed, just sandpaper.

Anyway, they are very well made stocks. The one on my Mauser project (two years in the making) is going to look really good!!!!

I am assuming that is the virtual inletted stocks? Did you bed it also?
