afternoon hunt- cant decide

hey guys i havea few hours until i leave down the road for a afternoon hunt. i need ya help on which gun to take.... since the burn ive not been hunting much. none of the guns r being used, i wanna take them all.... but can only take, 1 maybe 2

Ruger 35 whelen 3-9x42 zeiss 250gr hornadys
Ruger 1 303 2-7x33 150gr hornadys
winchester 94 375 open, 250gr cast
kimber 7mm 08 140gr woodleighs


more than likely goin to sit over a pine block thats been harvested an the deer will cross from the bush , over a small strip of clear , up the track an into range .


likely ride into position then wait for evening to fall

Well, i ended up grabbing the 35 Whelen!

got it done too, took two nice sambar females within seconds of each other as they came out of the hill an bushes.
seen 20 odd fallow hinds but no velvet bucks today, missed prime time, cutting up deer such is life

kind of fitting timing really, as the scope gets used in NZ on a .270 win, which is about a month away, just today my permit to Acquire a new rifle turned up, so looks like might be pinching the scope off it sooner than later... cannot wait to experience my first left hand rifle of my own!!!!

the Whelen will likely sit well back in the Safe for a good while! fitting finish
