I don't know about ageing Ontario deer by looking at them, however; in Alberta or Saskatchewan he would be a 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 year old. Also, his left eye dosen't seem normal, or maybe it's the angle of the photo.
He's in good condition. Likely 3-1/2, maybe 4-1/2. Don't see any
evidence of age beyond that. Rack typical of a younger deer as
opposed to 5-1/2 or better.

I guess the deer there are different; where I hunt that size rack would be on a 3 1/2 year old deer. This one's body and head just looks way older than that to me.
Shoot him and send the teeth out to be aged or however they do it now.
