I am trying to determine when some Remington firearms were made but I am having a problem. For example, I have a Remington Model 14 Pump Action that was made between 1915 and 1935 (only time this model was made). The trademark stamp says Remington Arms-Union Metallic Cartridege Co. The reference I have found says this trademark was used on firearms made between 1910 and 1920. Makes me think I am closing in. The barrel code on the left side of the barrl is a 'K'. Checking the date of maufacture codes from Remington says this gun was made in 1941. How is that possible? This model wasn't even made after 1935. What am I doing wrong? Can anyone explain this one to me?

If it still won't feed it may be missing the cartridge stop.
