Now's Norinco's chance to play with the big boys. They buy Winchester, keep the old plant open as an assembly point, but ship all the parts in from China. Hey it would be the foot in the door to get their SKS's and 1911's back into the 'States.

Gawd could you imagine what the Model 70 +/or Model '94 would look like if it came from Norinco???

But on a serious note, maybe if Browning is the one to keep Winchester going they will make a new run of the excellent Browning 1886 SRC's in .45-70 Govt.

IMO the best "Winchesters" made since 1964 have been Japanese. The 1886, highwall, lowwall, 65, 92, 53, 95, 101 etc.
