Agulia ammo

Apparently it shoots quite well in some rifles but it's lube is really 'greasy'. I don't know of a source in Canada. I think it's very similiar to the mexican version of PMC Scoremaster.

Havn't seen Aguila in almost 20 years. Local wally mart had it. From what I remember it was cheap and dirty which was just what I was looking for in those days

They have a full line.

It just isnt available up here. The super sniper is accurate but a little
strange at 60 grns. Looks like short with lead out the length of LR.
It also travels quit slow, so probably not great in semi's I agree.

The factory was set up by Remington, using thier machines, back in the late '70's.

The ammo was quite dirty but it functioned perfectly.

You could, at one time, buy this ammo at Canadien Pnue for about 0.77 cents a box.

RePete.

I've got a brick I got at a gun show that has a Canadian Tire price sticker on it. Shoots well in some guns.

On Rimfire Central, they said that Aguila made PMC's rimfire ammo for them.

I've got some Aguila .22 Sniper Sub Sonic (SSS) ammo around.

60 grain projectile, in a .22 LR.

Will not cycle a semi.

NS
Depends on your Semi, I had a couple it would.

The SSS is crap, IMHO. The biggest ammo dissappointment I had in sometime ( I blame Reg, I ended up with some of his after he deepsixed it ). Thier regular ammo is reasonably OK, but frankly I would rather go CCI or Fed (as a minimum).

Actually it is not, unless you happen to have a special fast twist barrel. I have shot this out of my target rifles and it groups OK but nothing like conventional subsonic ammo.

The primary benefit to the SSS is its ability to kill larger animals at a longer range than conventional rimfire ammo. SSS is not really any quieter than other subsonic ammo.
