Ahahahahahahaha!

Mossberg may make ####ty looking gun but they ARE smart. You get the average joe, can't shoot very well but thinks he WILL have lots of cred from his friends and the guys like him at the gun club if he owns "tactical" guns. And this average joe will THINK that the more #### he throws onto his guns like lazers, expensive ass ACOGs and such the cooler/better ninja he becomes:). You throw the word "tactical" in front of a guns name, paint it flat black, add some rails/bipod/fancy muzzle break you can add 60% to the price of the gun with out the "tacticool" touch......and people, MANY people buy them. So I gotta say, Mossberg doesn't make guns to make taste but they are far from dumb.

Now that's the toughest guy in Hay river .:p

I have a theory that he's one of those lunatics angling for their own reality TV show. The last few years we've had film crews from Ice Road Truckers and Ice Pilots NWT around, then the Balloon Boy fiasco probably inspired him.
He's always been a little "off", but when it's -35 even girls wear pants.

If anyone wants the 817 without the muzzle brake, PM me, I can hook you up. Perhaps if you call up ATR, they can make you a nice muzzle brake for it. Be a great little gopher gun.

You guys mock it, but it is designed to be shot prone and anyone who has done a reasonable amount of shooting from that position knows that felt recoil is increased - as is the chance of magnum eye.
A pistol grip...shooting prone...good lord.
