Greetings all!

just thought i'd say a little hullo. I am new to the world of firearms, though i did defend a farmers field back in Alberta from the nefarious plots of gophers, i was a younggun then, and am only just getting back into this.

recently took the CFSC/CRFSC through silvercore and my instuctor Guy pointed me here. Hats off to that fine fellow. Thanks for the great class. Waiting for my PAL in the mail. Meanwhile i will be scouting around here for some info on good firearms for kayaking.

Ahoy mate, welcome aboard. I never had to shoot a kayak before so not sure if I can advise you. 27 years in Search and Rescue I have rescued a few, but we never had to put any down. ;-) I would imagine a marinized 12 guage pump would do a pretty fair job on em though, they don't look that tough.

Hello and welcome from Nova Scotia's South Shore. There's quite a bit of "ahoying" around here. Not a lot of kayaking, but a fair number of lobster boats. Enjoy the site.
