What's your agenda for posting this Mr. LifeLine?

Who are you trying to make look bad this time?

If anyone wants, I will offer my services pro boner!!!

I saw the link, watched the vid too. Nothing out of the norm. The ATRS video on the other hand (the most controversial video that caused an uproar a few days ago) shows the same guy using the same loads and expected the same results. Different rifle, different loads. VERY rarely does 2 rifles of different makes have the same favorable loads (I don't reload but should be common knowledge to reloaders).

The those who don't want to watch the TL;DR (DW?) is this.

$12,000 Accuracy International and S&B rig shoots well.

Should actually shoot better than his group but I know that shooting in minus 20C sucks.

That was a common sentiment on that thread regarding the reloading. Yet on the other hand the cries of testing with Federal gold were also made by the exact same people. I mention this because he listed his reload formula and it was right in there with the known Federal gold clone reload formulas. I use a very similar load for my 5R milspec, AR10T and it was also the round that gave 1.5 moa in the Kel Tec RFB. I use 43.4 instead of 44 but it's right in There with the 43-44 for Federal gold clone ammo formulas. The recipe he used is a well known accuracy round formula.

The round he used should shoot decently in pretty much any precision 308. Tweaks should be for going after that sub .4 group rather than trying to keep it on the paper. There is no voodoo with the AR308 rifles. If you're working hard to find the one magic bullet that doesn't shoot poorly then something is wrong. The starting point for a quality AR308 should be the same as your quality bolt action. Federal gold and clone reloads are fairly safe bets with both.
