I've seen guys wearing some kind of GI type padded belt with mag holders on them for PRS matches.

Any idea where to get the belt and where can I get a couple good AI Mag holders to fit it?

I would like the mag holders made from Kydex.

I remember a guy had a booth at Meaford last year and I cant remember the name... plus I don't recall him having the belts.

If all you're putting on the belt is a couple kydex mag pouches, you don't really need a padded (battle) belt. You can use any kinda rigid belt or a rigger's belt. That's all I do for PRS/NRL matches. For team/field matches I use a HSGI battle belt but it also carries my Kestrel, LRF, a dump pouch and a holster if there's pistol in the cof.

For PRS that's about all (probably add a dump pouch) but invariably it will migrate to my full bat belt for hunting with all sorts of extra stuff.... Water bottle, flashlight, hunting knife, GPS etc.

line of defense mentioned above has the perfect belt shown on the web site but they don't appear to sell to the public. Need to find a retailer somewhere. They also look a bit pricy, better off to find a cheaper version, like Condor or something.

After typing this post I check Amazon for Condor Battle Belt and found some nice options.

I have two of the AICS mag holders from Ryan at Highlander, he modified them for me to fit my Tikka CTR mags. They work really well and I would highly recommend him and his products, he makes great stuff.

As far as I know LOF sells to the public. I am the public and have purchased from them.

I have one of the Highlander Tactical AICS pattern, kydex mag holsters that I picked up after Meaford last year and it works pretty well, but my go to now is the one made by Mike at BiggDogg in Washington. Not sure if he has a website yet or not, but you can get hold of him at (425) 888-2001 or michael@biggdoggfirearms.com.

Another vote for HSGI Taco's. Lower footprint than a comparable kydex equivalent (takes up less room on belt) and the retention is adjustable with the bungee straps.

A padded battle belt is a bit overkill for PRS type events, as others have mentioned, you just need a riggers belt. I personally use the Arc'teryx riggers built and attach 1-2 AI sized tacos, 1-2 pistol tacos, and a pistol in a holster. Works great and it's low profile.

Keeping it simple with minimal gear is the way to go in that sport, IMO.
