He is a giant of a man himself, & there were plenty of thick chested guys trying on & purchasing carriers at Taccom.
 
do your ballistic plates "expire"? I read somewhere that ballistic plates may need to be replaced overtime even if you don't use them and storing them for a SHTF scenarios.
 
My plate set has a serial number, location of manufacturing, date of manufacturing, & date of expiry.

Taking care of your plates & carrier is as important as any other piece of equipment that you want to last it's intended longevity window.

When yours expire and what’s the manufacturing date?

Also, how do we take care them while storing them?

Hot off the press, 08/23-08/28

I do not treat my protective equipment like "hockey gear"

Clean the sweat & dirt from carrier look for tears or rips after each use, store in a room that doesn't fluctuate temps.(Garage or Dingy basement) isn't the ldeai places.

AI Tactical Solutions strives to keep the elements out & the protection in their products.

Me as the operator also have the responsibility for the product as the end user.

Thank you for stopping by we always love hanging out with customers who have shopped with us since we got started. We would be more than happy to make those for you we even do custom carriers, as for the 11x14 it should fit in our Eitan 8 carrier. We can make any size of plates but we only keep as standard items the most common size. But get in contact and send us an email and we would be happy to make those for you.

We're actually currently making a 3+ shield for a client. All of our shields are made to order so we have a lot of flexibility when it comes to the cut and protection level. Just let us know what you would be looking for and we can most likely make it for you.
