AIA .308 magazines for a M14

Pretty hard to unstamp a stamping.

The important thing is that these magazines cleared CBSA/RCMP, given the report earlier in this thread that CanAm is having to go to court.

Basically three options - sell as is - the stamping will be a bit of a chuckle, or, replace the stamped part with a correctly marked one, or forget about this batch and start over.

Just a point on this tread, the law works both ways, maybe we should just not mess with things, and get changes we don't like. The AIA M10-A1 7.62X39 has to be pinned to 5, because the magazine is originally for an AK47, and we call this stupid, yet when we use a AIA 10 round in on our M14 it's cool, we will only get worse laws if we push.

I mean this in the nicest spirit, I am glad everyone is taking this so well. Me, I am sketching out on the importer and the importer is sketching out on the manufacturer.

I don't think any one is really surprised. I am just grateful someone is trying to push the envelope.
We know it isn't in your control, and we understand....like mature adults.

Unlike other threads for a dollar.

I’d say they riffled through these mags a little too fast when stamping them. :p

Use it or lose it. I see no benefit in compromise.

I think we need to push back and eliminate the many restrictions we have. I strongly believe with the right government we can do that. With 2.5 million firearm owners in Canada and the right marketing campaign we can do it. We have significant voice in our country. there is no reason why we should continue down the liberal path of firearm policy. We must fight back with all political avenues available to any citizen.

I was just looking at my AIA mags and noticed that they don't say anything on them any where. Why do these new ones have to say anything? For that matter why not modify the AIA mag to 20rds, not sure if you could use the bottom half of an M14 mag and tig weld it on. If you weld two mags together which one is the mag classed as ;)

Hell, if the bureaucrats actually believe that we can stick a serial number on a firearm using a sticker, why not a sticker on a magazine?

Man I am getting so tired of having to work around stupid laws and restrictions.

Green sticker = legal

Red sticker = Prohibited.

Seems like that's a foolproof way to mark magazines... and easily identifiable at a glance!

OH NO that's a RED MAG RUN!!!
