AIA .308 magazines for a M14

I see legal disputes from AIA heading to More Guns Supply lol. The whole claiming to sell genuine AIA products made by AIA is quite amusing.

In all fairness, reading back to moregun's posts, I don't see anywhere that he claims the mags were made by AIA, just that they were made for the AIA. The brainchild behind this whole scheme also had plans to create a bolt action SKS and then also supply full cap mags for that riffle. In fact, I understand that he actually modified a SKS to bolt action and got an FRT number issued for it. Hard to say if it will get any further than that.

Anyone want to bet that he is currently busy cutting the "fit's AIA riffle" mags now and trying to salvage 10 rounders out of them?

That is assuming that the FIT'S AIA RIFFLE mags actually made it into the country.
I'm not sure what the point of cutting them down would be, though. Apart from the embarrassing stamping, if they are legally in the country, why not just sell the fool things and be done with it?

I noticed the two are very "similar" on the back tabs. My AIA will not take the M14 mag, but Norinco will take the AIA mag...

See weld difference

Norinco mag has a flat bottom edge.

You can see the AIA mag has a chamfered edge.

I sent them a email to moregun supply to cancel my preorder for these mags. They then asked me for a preorder number. I was never given a preorder number and i promptly sent another email to them to tell them that. They havnt responded to me since. Im guessing soon I will be billed for 2 piece of s**t mags filled with spelling mistakes that we sold to me under the pretence that they are official AIA mags.

seems i was absolutely right. they cant or wont cancel my pre order for these mags without a reference number wich they never gave me. f**king scumbag ki11ercane and company. time to call visa and see what they can do for me.

He won't even cancel it if he has your name, shipping info, and visa info? Surely that has to be enough proof.

Stinks more and more. Going to call them as soon as I have a day off work.

VISA will help you. If your card had already been billed for something, then it would be a case of you disputing a charge. Right now you are 'concerned that a disreputable business has your credit card number and may charge you for products you don't want to purchase.' I'm not sure exactly what they will do but they should at least add a note to your account recording your concern.

Remember most CC companies give you 60 days to dispute a charge if it were to happen.

Turns out visa wont do much for me. they said they cant do anything until more gun supply bills me at wich time i can dispute the charge. Or the other option they gave me was to cancel my credit card and issue me a new one.

Kinda retarded that im trying to warn visa and be proactive and not reactive and they tell me that they cant do anything for me other then cancel my card and give me a new one. Im trying to save visa some trouble but they would rather do it the hard way.

Send a registered letter instructing the company to remove your name from the list, and to delete any record of your credit card information.

They're not likely to be shipping any magazines any time soon - there is no evidence that FIT's AIA RIFFLE magazines are actually in the country.

Ok, looks like I overestimated what they would do, sorry.:( I though for sure they would appreciate the heads up. At least in the worse cast scenario you do get charged all of a sudden, you likely won't be the only VISA customer disputing the charge. I don't think it will come to that though because MGSupply has moved onto 10x rounders instead of these 20x's.

tiriaq's registered letter is a good idea.

if its true that they are now 10 rounders and i pre ordered 20 rounders then this will be a f'in easy dispute to win i would think. And to think if they are now 10 rounders and not 20 more gun supply should contact everyone on their pre order list and advise them of the changes. they havnt contacted me yet and im willing to bet they are not going to. Talk about customer service. I have never done a credit card dispute before but there is a first time for everything.

If one searches for threads on CGN that mention Mick, they will be full of your posts bashing him. Its like you're on a mission. Whatever he did to you, it must've been personal.

While i disagree with many things he did in the past (and how he did them), i see nothing wrong with exploiting loopholes in our idiotic gun laws. In fact, if someone is willing to go through all the trouble, invest TONS of his own time and money into bringing us legal standard-capacity mags for rifles, i will be forever grateful to them. While most of us are sitting on our asses and complaining, he's actually trying to do something to improve the situation for all of us.

For what it's worth, odds are the riffle mags would have been perfectly legal:

Maybe.
With all the wink, wink, nudge, nudge, it could be argued that the whole purpose of the project was to make 20 round M-14 magazines available, notwithstanding the AIA Riffle stamping. For what rifle were the magazines actually designed and manufactured?
Also, read the Lee Enfield magazine exemption very, very carefully.

It is a matter of interpretation, just as that RCMP bulletin is.

Questar got a stamp of approval for the LAR 10 shot magazines before making them available. Is there any reason to believe that the importer of the riffle magazines did the same?
