How many B2s and B3s made it into Canada? I remember reading something about the B2 being around 37 but can't find the post. As far as the B3 goes I'm just curious as to the amount as I've never seen one for sale on the exchange, then again I've only seen one B2 on there.

I own 2 AIA B2's plus an AIA No4. I think 32 B2's made it into Canada and 10 B3's but that's just what I've read on this forum.

there are more aia No4 then anything else... I have 1 in 308 with 2 magazines. There also was a 7.62x39 but it took Ak 47 magazines so it's pinned to 5.

They were coming in for under 1000 then to get more they doubled in price so the importer stopped bringing them in. Then the company making them sells more in Australia then here so it didn't want to bother exporting them as demand at home was high. They figured for around 1,600 or 1,800 they wouldn't sell.

M10-B1 50
M10-B2 32
M10-B3 9
NO4MK4 213
NO4MK4SL 1
M42-B2 1
M10-A1 1

M10A1/A2 48(?)

Got these numbers from 762X51NATO in a pm. He said these were the numbers for Canada and the USA

I won't be selling mine anytime soon but what would a B3 go for if it was posted on the EE?

I saw a B2 at Reliable a while back in the used rack for a 1000.00, looking back I regret not buying it. It would have gone nice with my B3 and A1.

I can remember all the naysayers putting down these guns and now that they are no longer available demand and interest for them goes up. Typical I guess. And if we could still get them I can only imagine the moaning about the newer prices. I considered the prices I paid at the time more than fair for the products I was receiving. I am quite certain that both my A1 and B3 will continue to appreciate in value.

It was a hard one not to jump on as soon as it was listed. But I already have a B2. You will not be disappointed, and for what you spent your already in the plus. How does the check rest match up? Teak? Maple?

The AIA 7.62x51mm M10-B3's use a surplus Mini gun barrel left over from the Vietnam war, they have a light weight barrel compared to the heavy barrel M10-B2 rifles.

interesting read

Wonder if that guy had an axe to grind because that dealer would not give him one for free to test, he never even got his hands on one but seems to talk from authority on these fine accurate rifles that are in much demand.

who can say.. but those seem like common complaints with Marstar from lots of people... :)

also that guy seems to know his stuff, and is one of the 'go to' sites for the .303... ? It is common knowledge that AIA was super sketchy.. try and find them or get a hold of them now. As far as I know it is impossible.

I always found the No.4 looking model a little amusing considering Lithgow never made No.4 rifles. It just feels like a more appropriate retro-look would have been with a SMLE-style front end, either with the Mk. III open sights like the Ishapore 2A1s or the peep sights like the Mk. V
