Cops and lawyers can argue all they want, but no magazine capacity ruling is going to stop the next psycho who decides he needs to shoot some people.
You wanna help these guys? Maybe take store credit ...
You are correct. The pre-payment was capital to prove to the manufacturer that Canadians were serious about these mags. It worked. Everything was right on track until we chose to verify the design with the RCMP. That was a set back, but the project died when Wolverine decided to follow our lead and fast tracked in some E-Lander mags. Kudos to E-Lander for their speed at bringing products to market.Help them out with what? Our deposits acted as capital for this endeavour, and it fell through.
I still think these mags would have outsold the AIA mags in the long run.
Well that sucks for the people who sold their mags to pay the preorder.
I expect one and haven't heard anything yet. Guessing we'll get an email of some sort.Has anyone here received their refund yet?

It was a one-two-punch of both that knocked the project out. I'd happily share more of the personal side of the story, but I don't think it would be appropriate on a public forum. I have no desire to openly step on toes. Again, I'm very happy with our work with Check-Mate and I think E-Lander mags are fantastic stuff. Was it actually a ruling that stopped it or was it the projected market? If not a ruling then perhaps another supplier could step forward. I'm sure if a reliable 10/20 hit the market, many people would sell off their 10/10s and 5/10s pretty fast.
