Perhaps they haven't gotten them in since they would be in competition with the $200-$300 SKS in that calibre? I don't think that is the case in Australia but it is here.
Wouldn't you think about that if you were thinking about buying one? I handled really nice Russian SKS rifles, like new for $225. That vs an AIA for $800ish plus tax???
If you want the cheapest option to shoot 7.62X39 then the AIA is not it.....if you want a nice looking SMLE type bolt action with a 10 round mag then the AIA is it....except in Canada we are afraid of evil AK mags.
