AIA mags and stipper clips in M305

Hi all

Looking to get some AIA 10 round mags. Do they load well from the top with stripper clips? Does the mag pop out of the bottom if you push from the top while loading especially since there's no stabilizing hole in the front where the end of the spring guide would insert?

I've loaded rounds into my M1A with stripper clips into an AIA mag. Works great. The mag holds in there no problem. It's under a lot of spring force, so there is lots of friction to hold it in place.

I repeatedly charged 3 different AIA mags with stripper clips in my 305 last weekend and not a single problem, the AIA mags fit very securely and feed well in my rifle.

They normally do, did you buy it second hand? If so the original owner might have removed it to put on a scope mount.
