Well I was kind of on the fence about selling my MK10 full wood, I want an auto ordinance M1 I figured this would make a good trade, so I posted the question of trade to a fellow I know is wanting to sell his M1, he replies "gorgeous how does it group?"
that got me to the range today to find out as I have only shot surplus out of it, haven't spent any real time shooting it hence the trade off, and so off I go! I have an inexspensive Bushnell on it and I still am shooting the cheap norinco crap I got with my M14 last year but WOW, I took a magazine full of the crap ammo and put the first two on the metal plate at 100 not sure if I mounted and sighted in or just mounted and bore sighted??? well it moved on both shots, Cool! so I waited my turn and went and put up a long range big orange target "42 year old eyes and crappy scope" hahaha anyways I put 8 shots on the target with out making one adjustment and I must say I think I am going to keep her hahaha what a beautiful nice shooting rifle!
I guess I am going to have to find another way to fund my M1 carbine adventure
