AICS chassis vs Mcmilan A5

so basically throw in a decent DBM and your running just a touch over the AICS... After a g note it really comes down to what fits you better, price becomes pretty mute...
 
My last A-5 was over $900.00US before shipping, insurance, and exchange.
Plan an on a bit over a grand, but you also need it properly inleted and bedded, and you might want to look at bottom meatal while you are at it.

Have you considered one of Ian's stocks?

Ian makes nice stocks.
I have been meaning to try one.

Even though he isn't taking any orders you would still likely get a stock from Ian before the McMillan was delivered. My last few McMillans were a bit over 6 months!
 
x-fan you got ripped if you paid over 900$US before shipping and all

got mine from jwprecision while he was still doing free shipping, and he charged me when the rate was nearly on par. I did pay some 100$ of taxes, courtesy of customs canada, but the total was just over 900CAN.
I know he now charges 798+25$ shipping (USD) + taxes you will pay at the border for an A-5, but that is only since january 2010, and thats still nothing like the price you paid
