Are AI mags similar in size to PGW mags? Looking for something to carry mine in/with.
The Taco will hold the PGW mags as well as the AI stuff. I have both.

Okay, thanks. Now help a brother out, what's a Taco?

Is there a decent priced Molle compatible one with solid flaps, maybe for two M14 or FAL mags?
My rifle case has molle webbing on it but I keep losing mags in the pockets. I wear it as a backpack so the pouches would get tipped upside down and sideways. Don't want to lose a $100 AI mag!
Ive been playing with kydex for while now so I decided to try making a mag pouch for my AICS mags.
My first try turned out alright. With a few tweaks it should be ready for me to use for my venture into PRS type shooting.
I'm going to try making some new belt loops that tilt the mag out away from my body a little. Maybe try 10 degrees or something. I'm also going to flare the top edges out some more so putting the mag in is easier.

where did you get the aluminum belt loops?
I grabbed a Tactical Tailor 7.62 double mag pouch from DS Tactical on their boxing day sale. Fits 2 7.62 mags and has a buckle on the flap. I have the same concerns cause I stick my AI mags in pouches on my range bag and don't want to lose one. Right now I have a 5.11 Tactical 4 mag AR pouch with 2 pockets designed to hold 2 30 rd AR mags each. They fit 1 7.62 mag in each pouch well but I have to use a spacer to prop the shorter AI mags up. The TT pouch will take up alot less space and I shouldn't have to worry about losing a mag.
That's is pure ###y! I like it and want !
Kona,
Those mag holders turned out extremely well. Good work!
