In case anyone was looking for a solution for a forward QD sling mount on an AICS stock:
I picked up a Magpul sling mount kit - type 1. Just pop out the plug in the slot on you want to have the QD mount and install the mount with the shortest screw. Perfect fit and it beats putting a rail and mount on the side that sticks out like a dog's bollocks. And it's way cheaper.
Victor Company rear QD sling mount replaced the old rear HK hook mount plate.
Hope this might save some people time if you're looking for a forward mount. I know I poked around quite a while looking for a way to put a mount on.
