AICS STOCK with Tikka action - rumour?

XLR chassis as well... or you can go with a GRS stock and CDI Precision (or Atlasworxs) bottom metal like I did for my T3... LOVE IT!!!

Sure -

LH Tikka T3 Varmint w 1-8" twist barrel
HSS aluminum bolt shroud and bolt handle
EGW 0 MOA top rail
TPS low aluminum rings
NF NXS 5.5-20x56 with NPR-1 reticle and HS/zerostop turrets
GRS 'varminter' stock in grey/black laminate with CDI precision bottom inlet
Atlasworxs bottom metal (which essentially dropped into the CDI inlet!)
Modified AICS mags... Need to file a bit off the outsides of the feed lips, or else machine the receiver a bit.

Overall weight- to be honest I've never weighed it. The stock is actually fairly light (couple pounds) especially compared to an AICS chassis! I'd guess total weight is about 11lbs or so. My tank of a scope doesn't help with weight that's for sure! I'll weigh it later tonight...

Thanks Canuckle, very helpful! I love the look/woodwork of the GRS stock, but I'm a little reluctant to buy one without seeing how it feels and they are not in stock anywhere that I can find. Have you shouldered a McMillan A5 or a Manners? How similar is it?

What length of barrel is that?

I sourced mine through ### International... No hassles and about three week delivery time. Custom ordered from Norway too! Some guys apparently have had issues with Joe (###) but no problems on my order. Edit: wow - even his name is a swear word on here. ;) ArrrrPeeeeeEssssss

Barrel length is stock ... Think 22"?

It DOES feel different than a manners or Macmillan. The pistol grip has a slight 'roll' to it so your hand is not as vertical as it would be on a standard stock. However it is VERY comfortable and shooting prone and offhand is very nice. The cheek rest is solid and gives excellent consistency. Still haven't bedded the stock but think I might over the winter. Accuracy didn't seem to change when switching from stock Tupperware. No regrets on my end. Unique, comfortable, and functional. 10round mags with looong bullets = sweetness.
