Aim Bullets for IPSC

I've been loading Aim 124 for my Glock for around 12,000 rounds now, been having pretty good luck with them. I figure they are more accurate than me! Some have posted the weights and averages, most seem pretty close to the advertised weight. I use a progressive press, and the average weight of dispensed powder is pretty accurate, but I certainly don't weigh out every charge. I did that when loading rifle cartridges, but that would only be a hundred or less at a time, reloading for hand gun, I don't think that I would ever weigh every charge when loading 500 to 1000 at a time! So which is more important, a variation of .1 to .5 grains on the bullet or .1 grains on the powder? In a perfect world, all bullets in a batch would be identical in weight, diameter, and even finish, but there are always tolerances unless you want to pay a buck a bullet or even more. Just my thoughts.
 
I've been using AIM bullets since they started. Any I boxes I didn't like the look of or the weight of were replaced, no problem. They are easy people to deal with and have always been fair.
 
I picked up a box today from Rouge River and they actually look much improved. The bases are much better, and the sides no longer come pre-engraved.....

I will see how they shoot.
 
Well, Runningfool saw me shoot awesome with them last week...

Then again, 3-7 yards, so, it doesn't matter.

But, they made my a$$ look hawt!
 
The stuff I had wasn't even good as practice ammo. Frontier bullets from Marstar were cheaper last I checked, and much more consistent in weight.
