Aim Projestiles

I bought a few boxes and found them good. But I think the company has changed hands at least once, maybe more, so quality under different regimes my vary. My bullets came from the Hamilton plant.

HI; I picked up a box of 9 MM 124 grain plated at the NEW location on Woodward ave in Hamilton. The bullets look OK, not as shinny as other brands. They shoot well enough but only fired a few so far. There was a skid of boxed 9MM and 40s but no 45 for now. For me cash sale, no shipping, I will use for now.

I have tried many thousands of Aim, Frontier and Campro plated bullets.
The general feeling among most, possibly all, of the Halifax area IPSC shooters is the Campro's are the best of the three.

A friend bought 2000 124 gr. 9mms. He had problems with the odd round not chambering. I bought them (cheap ) and ran them all through a .356 Lee bullet size die. Some presented a fair bit of resistance which indicated that they were oversize. After doing that I've had no problems.

I believe that Berry's double strikes a lot of their bullets (size after plating) to make sure they are uniform. I've mic'ed a bunch of mine & they were all the exact same size. I always use Berry's if I can get them.
