I noticed if I don't have the battery cap screwed on really tight the dot will go out once in a while. When I tighten the cap it comes back on. I am afraid of breaking it as I have to screw it pretty tight for the light to never go out. Is it possible that the L44 dollar store batteries are a little thin?
