aimpoint clone rings

I bought an aimpoint clone from fab sports (H96 I believe), and its a great scope.

It comes with a cantilever mount for a picatinny rail .. which mounts it rather high. Is there a way to mount it using just a single ring to lower it as much as possible?

You should be able to use any 30mm low ring. The Aimpoint low ring is about 2x wider than a 30mm scope ring, but is otherwise just that.
