Bought an Aimpoint Pro and want to mount it to a Colt LE 6920 equipped with standard A2 front sight.

Will the mount provided with this Aimpoint fit to clear the front sight and be able to cowitness ?

From what I heave read on US Forums, the PRO as it comes out of the box with the spacer installed, is at a height in between Absolute Co-witness and Lower 1/3 Co-Witness.
 
It's speced for total co witness (iron sights and red dot will all line up in the centre of the optic)

I highly recommend getting the ADM 1/3 height mount. Big fan of it.
 
the mount that comes with the Aimpoint PRO is called the QRP2. Its made to give you a lower 1/3 co-witness on an AR. There is nothing for you to do but slap it on your rifle and you are good to go.
 
Going to the range tonight to sight it in.
It came with the spacer installed and 2 short Bolts if someone choose to take it off.
Looks like it is a little more than a 1/3 co-witness but not absolute. But the dot is not adjusted yet.
I like it very much. Target acquisition is easy with both eyes open.
The only negative I see is the tightning nob gets in the way of the bolt release lever. I used the slam it with my palm.
