I know your first attempt didn't work out but did you end up with a CompML3? I was under the impression that only the CompM4 came with a mount.

I finally ended up with a CompM3 (I got a deal I couldn't pass) and an ADM mount. My first choice would've been a LaRue, but I couldn't get one. Turns out I really like the ADM.

Cool. Which model of ADM did you get? Does it allow for a lower 1/3 co-witness?

I got the AD-68 (standard height) for full co-witness. To have the 1/3 lower, you need the AD-68H.
