Aimpoint P.R.O. on my AR...

Lol. Seriously. A paper plate is SMALLER.

I'd use a barn if CFO would approve them as acceptable targets.

It's pretty obvious why I use them (they have a name on them for Pete's sake)

I'd probably only use paper plates if they were 'Royal Chinet'.

Gahd! I embarrass me.

You should see the MagPul targets I have on order.....<KIDDING>

LOL! I only shoot paper plates at 15 yards though. And it ain't pretty! The rest of my drills I do at 75, 125 and 200 yards on range gongs. I'm not sure what brand the paper plates are, but I'm pretty sure the cardboard was an old diaper box. :D

Those are As and Cs most def... ;)

'cept for the two flyers.

You should put some 'A' and 'C's on those plates.

All of a sudden you'll feel like a Chris Costa or Travis Haley.

But in all honesty I do use paper plates as targets. Except I cheep out on the staples.

Because we don't have provision for reactive targets at the range
I found that one staple in the middle turns a normally dull paper plate into a reactive target if you shoot out the staple.

It's a stunt I use to challenge myself..

I wish we had a gong. I'd be there all the time.

BTW the staple trick is cake if you use an Aimpoint. (I think I jacked my own thread)

Today, after putting close to 2500 rounds with the Aimpoint P.R.O. the four bolts that clamp the optic to the mount backed out.

Enough so that the optic was sliding around in the mount.

So if you haven't already, a little locktite would help. There was none on mine as it came from the factory.

Nice. I bought the same one from DS Tactical as well. I'm local to them so I just went and picked it up. It's mounted on a CORE15 MOE M4 Piston that I just picked up from Wanstall's

Good post. I'm looking forward to trying the PRO out. To date most of my Aimpoint use has been with the Comp M4 and the T1, with my preference beign for the T1. The PRO's pricing is very good if you are outfitting your gun out of your own pocket. I have 20 of the PRO's sitting at work in a box waiting for the guns they are going on to arrive. I'll post more once they are mounted, zeroed and have been in use for a bit.

I have the PRO mounted on my Norc M4. It's everything the EOTech isn't. Return to POI is dead on taking it off/on.
The only thing I found was the clamping knob loosened after 50 rds or so a few times. Some blue loctite cured that.

Glad I could help loosen the optic... Probably the only thing I actually accomplished yesterday!
