Not sure what to make of this - may be a non-issue. In certain lighting, I can see a faded/faint shape behind my dot (2moa)...it never interferes with the dot but can be slightly distracting at times. I managed to capture a picture of the shape although it never actually appears red or this bright - just found some lighting that accentuated it for the purposes of this thread.
