air gun oil

There, fixed that one for ya!

Just curious! Have you read the original post and the question asked?

The OP was asking about using Pellgun oil versus air tool oil in a C02 gun.

There was no mention, or question of dieseling issues in his question.
Most air gun owners are aware that a C02 gun will not diesel with petroleum based oils.

My response to the OP question, was that air tool oil being a petroleum base oil will break down, gum up the O-rings that are used to seal a C02 gun. Which is a valid response to his question.

Why are you going on about Dieseling and that C02 is used as fire retardant in fire extinguishers!? And "there, fixed that for ya!", (by the way the word is spelt "you"!).

The OP was:
any body know if crossman pelgunoil is simply repackaged air tool oil???

if so it would be a lot cheaper

CO2 gun was not mentioned in the OP. I do not know what is in airtool oil or Pellgun oil. My related posts were mere clarifications made in the interest of safety.

BTW, threads sometimes go out of topic, momentarily or even permanently.

Most CGNners usually have a good sense of humor. Messages are sometimes misunderstood or taken out of context. Most of us just dismiss little inaccuracies, spelling and syntax errors and what not.
