I was reading the Ontario Out Of Doors magazine and I quote " Pistol style air guns can be used for hunting as long as they are not classed as resticted and muzzle velocity must be under 500 fps" and also " when hunting during gun season then a person could also carry a pellet gun or air rifle to shoot small game".
I did not know this, I would love to carry a small air pistol for grouse ect when I am deer hunting!!! Does any body have more legal info on this and/or advise on what pistol to purchase. I own rifles but have never hunted with a air pistol or rifle. Any info is happily accepted.
Thanks in advance.
