AirForce Condor - too much power

I upgraded my Condor to the spin lock tank system because the old valve was leaking air. I filled it up to 3000psi and took it out to chronograph with 15.9gr JSB Exacts. My initial shot was at half power on the power wheel. Needless to say I was a little bit surprised at 1322fps. I turned the power wheel down to the lowest it would go and the rest of the shot string were all over 1100fps. I will need to order the Ring-Loc Valves to tame this beast and then I can figure out the sweet spot to fill it to.

Is it hard to swap the barrels in these if I wanted to shoot .25 cal?

You might want to try heavier pellet first, I had good luck with 25g travelling just under the speed of sound !

It's pretty easy to change the barrel but not cheap !

I also have the 25cal. Mine likes the Predator polymer tip pellets and Beeman Kodiak 32gr pellets
I have mine tuned at around at 7 on the power wheel and shooting them at 950fps.
As most of you serious Airgunners know that that is best for optimum accuracy as anything going over this makes the pellets unstable
