Isn't there the risk of drawing too much attention to these by FOIA request? And why are the details so important to you? We all know the firearms act is a mess involving political correctness gone amuck.

One of the comments made by Liberal MPs is that the AR-15 can't be used for hunting. Wouldn't it weaken the current Liberal governments position if it was public knowledge that the Liberal government supplies so called assault weapons to First Nations for sustenance hunting.

I see no risk in drawing the public's attention to the abject hypocrisy with which every single Liberal government has demonstrated when talking about gun control.

Unbelievable, pinned magazines, yea right, and law abiding gun owners are the problem, the double standard is stunning

It was the Chretien Liberal government that passed the prohibition order, but if memory serves it was just Kim Campbell's (Progressive Conservative) restricted list from 1992, bumped up into a new category.
