AK-47 Sights on VZ-858

Are high visibility aftermarket AK-47 sights interchangeable with VZ sights?

Eyes aren't what they once were (old age setting in) and I'm having trouble with factory front sight and the 200 yard gong.

Any recommendations on which type I should get.

They don't have the same dimensions so you'd have to mill them down a bit

I'm pretty sure one could modify an SKS aftermarket fluo front post and screw it up in place of that VZ's front sight post.
As for the rear, well, you could modify the existing one to include some Hi-Viz dots on each side .
I think Charles Martel and NEA has something brewing about this.

AK & SKS front and rear sights are totally interchangeable with no modification.

I know first hand as I just put some AK Mepro tritiums front and rear sights on my SKS 'D', they are awesome!

Although the rear AK sights tend to be longer and may interfere with the SKS bolt.

For my VZ the front post is quite a bit smaller diameter than the AK/SKS.

For the rear sight the rear pins line up but main body of the AK/SKS rear would have to be shaved narrower to fit into the VZ rear sight mount.
