I didn't like the No. 4 Lee enfield either until I put 200 or so rounds through one.

Because they're "dangerous". When I got the letter stating no more SAPs would be issued, it said "in the interest of public safety" or some other similarly worded bull####.

It's just another step on the stairway to confiscation.

It's all part of the social engineering agenda. If you can't shoot them, why do you have them? Right?

Just like not permitting handgun hunting. No good reason not too, except that it would give a "legitimate" reason to own one.

Not true. You are allowed to take 'em to a gunsmith for repairs. The gunsmith has to shoot 'em to ensure they are operating properly. You're being there and insisting you try it out yourself wouldn't pose a problem, now would it? ;)

Matter of fact, I'd betcha there are AK's, FNFAL's & HKG3's out there that need constant gunsmithing care....

i meant to the range by myself but i like your idea .
 
hehe sorry i can't agree to having to find a loophole just to fire off a couple rounds. i would hate to live life this way, my god what has become of us!
 
Who would know if you took your prohibs to the range? Who at the range would rat you out? What crime are you committing? Someone please tell me where the victim of this crime is?!

most people wouldn't but some would rat you out just because you have the prohib and they can't... btw I've seen people shooting their prohib pistols many times nobody lectured them

we are still allowed to shoot prohib handguns on the range..hence why you see them

now less talk and lets see pics of everyones AK's..so I can buy the ones I need to top up the collection lol

My AK56 is EVIL - It kills puppies and babies.

But the SKS and CZ858 are OK... makes alot of sense doesnt it ... ????

That is because you would then be needing a SAP for target shooting which they do not allow.

If you do not have to move the gun.........then you do ntot need an SAP>

I thought if you sent your Prohib to a gunsmith the smith could legally fire it while "fixing it", could you not arrange to have a smith meet you at the range for "service work"?
