ak parts kit

The receiver is legally the gun. You can have everything but the receiver without the proper, or for that matter any licence.

If you make your own receiver and complete with ak parts is it an AK according to the law ?

Just curious.

Even if you make holes, solder random things everywhere and does not follow a reg. ak receiver ?

What is this based on ?

The look ?

Or it is whatever they decide (as usual).

Look for the thread about making an AK receiver out of a shovel.

His point is that it is still a variant even though its a shovel.

So an AK shoots bullets.

Ruger mini 14 shoots bullets. Mini 14 is an ak varient.

You don't provide any information on what criteria a receiver is considered an AK varient.

Yes, you should delete all this forum and put this number in a blank page while you are at it.

Not planning to do any of this (ak thing), and don't need any accurate information... just feeding a conversation. Last i heard a forum was the right place to do this.

Dude. It prohibited by name. If you build it out of wood, steel, paper mache and it runs or operates using all the other AK parts it will be an AK variant. Its that simple.

There is nothing special about an AK as far as its ability to put rounds down range. Its only special because it looks scary, and some one decided to put it on a list of scary guns.

Don't try to make sense of Canadian gun laws. You'll go crazy.
