Because I can't have it - I want it! However, I think that to get a similar quality of my CSA you need to look to a custom or an Arsenal made AK. IMHO. Anyways, we all trying to make our CZ's look just a bit closer to an AK. Here is another detail that I've added to make it look like a big brother. What do you think?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - as someone who has owned and fired both guns, and humped an AK in the bush (in Canada), the Vz58 is a better rifle than the AK. But the cleaning rod and pistol grip are quite handsome - overall that's a great looking rifle.


PS - do you think you could Photoshop out the Firearms Act? That would be cool.
 
Man I really like that rifle!! I'm thinking I like the look of the AK look a likes better than real AK's. Uh oh is that blasphemy? Oh well it's true. Nice clean lines. I wouldn't say you'd need to add much more. Looks good! Maybe one of those ak muzzle brakes like the one on this rifle

Yes, it's an actual rod, but not the AK one. I've used a piece of the cleaning rod and the bolt. Yes, I drilled the hole and there is nut holding it. It can be used as a cleaning rod, but I doubt that I ever use it ;)

Nice! where did you get the hanguards from? put the rail on yourself?

Its been said before, Satain did not have his AKM comp installed correctly in that vid. There are 3 notches for indexing but the middle one is not supposed to be there. Index right for RH shooters and left for LH shooters and it works good. And its a compensator, not a brake. It does not reduce recoil. I like them for their tiny size and ease of cleaning. They work good when you install them properly.
