I stand corrected - I just took one of mine apart to compare - AK mag catch is higher on the mag and requires modification of the TG frame and shorter, requiring a longer catch.

Yes! We sell just the release on it's own and it works with any magazine. Some minor fitting might be required.

you don't need the block if you ARE using duck bill mags.

Yes it works great! As with any magazine some fitting to the stock and rifle might be required. I like the look of 5/10 round pro mags and wood stock.

Great product. With all the cool stuff coming out for the SKS recently, I think I may need to get another one.

In the past 3 or 4 years it seems like there's so much you can do with the SKS. Yeah, it's an old gun but you can do so much with them. There's a reason they're more popular than ever. Hopefully supply keeps up for awhile yet.

Wider magazine latch so it's stronger, tighter tolerances along the trigger assembly frame and slightly smoother operation.
