AK74 Pellet Gun?!

I was in at my local dealer today and he indicated that they have an AK47 model on order and will be here in April. I am not certain as to which manufacturer it is though.

mach1airsoft.com was at this years sportsmen show in toronto, they had the AK74 and many other guns, the 74 felt really solid.

They are a non-firearms by classification, but customs won't clear them anyway.

maybe at present time this statement is true, but I met with the person frew days ago in my city. he has this ak variant, more than that he was able to import it in 2008 in to Canada with no problems..... so probably it is depend on particular case ..... and customs officer :)

Could be true.

I've brought two Makarov(Baikal) BB guns into Canada back in 2008. They were seized by customs:confused:, but were returned to me after almost 4 weeks of testing.......

So, who knows...

P.S. I've discussed an option of bringing "Junkers" into Canada with a dealer in E. Europe, but was informed that it's not doable since Canadian Customs simply won't clear them.

Simply put, if certain companies can import airsoft guns for sale to the public, then someone can import these Yunkers (as long as they are under the 500fps rule)....

I've been trying to get these into Australia for ages now but have had no luck. Would love to know how to get them here.

Saw one in the states when I was there and it was magic. Tried to bring it back but it was confiscated on arrival. Can you believe they confiscated a mosquito tennies racquet zapper as well! Unbelievable!

I recall seeing an AK pellet rifle many years ago. The receiver was that of a real AK, albeit modified. The authorities probably feel that this is how they're all made, so they're confiscated as being "prohibited" weapons.

The fact that I can't own an AK makes me want to rip my hair out homer simpson style.

It's one of those pains that just don't go away, a deep void in my soul. I wanted an ak ever since I was young. Loved them ever since first glance.

Then I found out that some jar of butt sauce made it illegal to own them here and my hatred for everything socialist and leftist in nature started like a ####storm from hell.

I own an 858 but its just not the same. I think I'm going to have to invest in a Deact AK47/AKM.
