Akdal 1919 Now non-restricted

A simple conference call may do the trick, or a written letter to each importer from someone such as your self suggesting organization and change for the better.

All I know is that because of your efforts, I know where I'm spending my money from now on. I support anyone who supports my hobby, and doesn't just give up and run with there tail between there legs.

Thank you, we have a dealers association the CSAAA but it is poorly supported. There is a lot of mistrust between importers and dealers and some believe if they "don,t rock the boat" they will be better off. It really is a great shame. We should join together, we would be much stronger but many gun owners and dealers fail to join or support any association.

Which version of the Akdal 1919 are you guys bringing in?
There are 4 if I'm not mistaken, well at least in the US there are 4.

We are not bringing in the Akdal 1919 we are bringing in the Alpharms 15SA. This is the shotgun we have been working on getting approved for 2 1/2 years. Details are on our page.

There are already the uzkon br99 series of shotguns in country 20 different t models we have been selling them for 2 months now.
They range from 780 to 950 we have doe extensive testing on them well over 1000rds fired 0 issues
Also someone is selling the deary? Brand for $1200 it's very nice but heavyx as hell.

We have sold alot of the br99 as have others

There's actually a memo where they imply that the GSG-5 is a shaky situation that they don't want to revisit.

With that said, I would love for Blueline (the original importer IIRC) to revisit the matter - maybe with the encouragement and support of other dealers/importers who have challenged these decisions in the past.

As for getting dealers/importers together I can understand what Mr. Wolverine is saying about some being hesitant. Maybe all it takes initially is for a few to get together, pick their battle(s) and successfully challenge these junk classification decisions to get people on board. Maybe invite the CSSA or CCFR and see what expertise or support they can offer. Maybe once you have the ball rolling on a particular fight, canvas the public for support by writing letters to MPs (not so sure how effective that would be now...). I dunno, I'm no expert, but now seems like the time to continue with the momentum a win like this brings.

Just a thought.

How right you are, a simple case of greed and to hell with every one else, yet, at the time, he was praised on CGN by people who didn't know better.

Not by me! I was in the legitimate STEN building game at the time, and the grief caused to me by that individual and his shenanigans would be difficult for someone else to appreciate.

My comment were not aimed at you Claven2, but at S--- S--- who also cost me a pile of money with the Sports System BD 38 which I am now selling as de-watts below cost. Shenanigans you say, you are been extremely polite! You know what they say about one bad apple in the barrel, well he was a bad apple and we couldn't even call him out on this forum. Small wonder some of the authorities don't trust us.

This might be a silly question, but what's the longest available barrel for the Akdal 1919 or the Alpharms 15SA? I'd like to use one for hunting as well, but a 18 or 20 inch barrel is pretty useless.

I miss my BD-38...nicest gun i've ever owned :(

I had one with 10 WW2 mags, original pouches, all real accessories, etc. It was a VERY sad day when it got welded up :( It was beautifully made.

Vid I took when I could still rock and roll legally...
