There is also an upgraded model (Ghost 02) which features include front serrations on the slide and interchangeable back grips...

You sir are a racist. This is clearly a natural expression of brilliant Turkish engineering, envisioned first by the wise and benevolent founder of the young secular Islamic Republic and then forged by the Anatolian warrior gods. Just like the Mehmetcik-1 (which is not a copy of the HK416, I swear!), it represents the very cutting edge in 12th century (according to the Islamic calendar) small arms design.

Now that is funny.:owned:

As for the clone, since I have zero interest in having a real glock - I have less than zero interest (is that even possible?) in acquiring a copy of one.

This one may be the best looking plastic gun out there if not, wonder they use the same metal treatment and finish as Glock? I also found a nice F92 in their site, come with .22LR but the barrel life is only 5ooo rounds, too bad.

someone bring those ghost 2 here and i am a buyer for sure:D

They are coming... we anticipate early 2009... we've been working on this for some months now. I would have preferred to announce once they were actually here and ready to ship, but obviously word already got out. ;)

If the darn currency (US$ / Canadian $) hadn't gone to s**t in October these guns would have retailed for somewhere in the $399 to $449 range, but with the dollar now ranging from 1.25 to 1.30 exchange rate (average) this puts the guns at somewhere around $499 or just over for the Ghost 02 model.

We should be announcing details in the next few weeks.

Interesting looking pistol, will have to check around when I return to Istanbul. The Turks do make some good quality firearms, check where a lot of shotguns are made. Sarsilmaz makes a good pistol as well.

hey what happened with those ghost 2 that where suppose to be here early 2009???

They do exist... we have a Ghost 1 and a Ghost 2 here in Canada and have done some testing on them. They are a neat little gun... shoot quite nice... but our honest opinion was that they were not worth the price the Turks wanted and they didn't want to accept the pricing we felt they needed to be to make them saleable.

The models we received were NOT as "parts interchangeable" as we'd initially been led to believe which is another reason we were not as interested as we initially were.

My understanding is that Charles Daily ended up making a deal with the factory to supply them to CD exclusively in the US for sale under the CD name... though we haven't actually seen them appear down there yet either so perhaps the CD deal fell through as well.

Anyway... the Ghost 2 was a neat little gun and would have been very attractive had pricing been such that we could have sold them for $225 to $249 but at $499 they simply weren't worth it in our opinion.

At the end of the day they were a far cry from the fit, finish or quality of a Glock.

Ghost TR-01 and TR-02 both r POS.
I have tried both pistols and both r very unreliable and inaccurate.
There were lot of FTEs during rang session.i will post pics soon.
That Akdal has very serious issues with its firearms.
