You can't mate the upper from an ar and an akdal it even says so in the rcmp ruling it is restricted on appearance only.

Please publish said ruling so the rest of us can read it. Because what you say isn't published on the FRT under the classification details in the Canadian Law Comments section of the entry.

Lower hammer and trigger system works like an AR. If the lab can make it shoot with an AR upper, even with duct tape and sticks holding the AR upper on..... It gets restricted as a variant.

I threw money down on an Mka 1919. I'll have lots more to say when its actually here, but I'm hoping to convert it from A2 ugliness into something like these beauties:
