I've been wanting to get a 410 to have a little fun with skeet shooting. Don't want to break the bank, but don't want something super cheap as well.

Anyone have any experience with akkars churchill 536 410ga SxS?

I enjoy shooting skeet with a 410, but I wouldn't get a 5lb SxS for that application. If you are talking actual skeet, where it will see a lot of use, I would go with a heavier O/U, and I would definitely be loading my own ammunition. Now if you are only going to shoot a few hundred rounds per year at clays, that is an entirely different situation, most guns will stand up to that kind of use.

I did a review of my Churchill 512. A 12g....not a .410....but the same gun nonetheless. I cant say enough great things about my Churchill. I’ve been very pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend one. I’ve shot some skeet with mine and agree with the comment suggesting that the gun is too light for a lot of shooting. But so far, my gun has held up very well. Its been my go to upland gun since I purchased it.
