Akkar Churchill Trap

Hey there, have any of you owned or shot an Akkar shotgun? I shouldered a Akkar Churchill 206 at my local store and it felt really good. Just never heard of this brand! Looking for some input?

They are a well made turkish O/U. I shot one for a couple of years, worked flawlessly, probably shouldn't have sold it.

They seem like decent guns but the one I shot seemed pretty light. One annoying feature they have is the safety comes on whenever you open the gun but I'm sure that could be disabled.

Auto safety can be disabled. I have the 206 sporting with 32" barrels and it so far far has been a great gun. Fits my large frame well and swings pretty good too. I find the fit and finish typical Turkish but the metal on metal fit in the receiver is great and tight. For the price new you can't go wrong.

Guy in the stall next to me on Friday was shooting one. Looked pretty nice but didn't get to handle it to say how it felt.

Very well made gun for the asking price. Certainly a good gun for a shooter on a tight budget.!!

Be careful with their take down latch under the hand guard. The thing is so sharp you could cut your hand open on it. They're a decent gun as far as I'm aware.
