Just got offered a akm-47 and was wondering real canuk resale values on this. I don,t want it for myself but i know its a wicked deal. Supposedly its unfired, guy has original manual. Can get 200 rounds of steel ammo (he said steel)

All i had was my cell with me when i picked up a cooey .22 and browning .44 mag from him tonight so this pic is scarry bad. Can,t find values in my blue book, so i,ll look to the real market. Think he said he had a couple mags also.

Thanks for any info.

Ummm... forgive me for pointing this out, but you're new to the board so I figured I would just mention that this rifle is prohibited. If you have the right class of license, then you're all set. If you're not sure you have the correct class of license, then odds are, you do not.

You probably know this already - forgive me for pointing out the obvious.

Well, if it is a wicked deal you better grab it.
What is one worth? About what someone will pay for it. This one is more interesting that a Chinese commercial AKM variant. The hole in the forend isn't exactly a selling point for a collector. 12(5) rifles aren't exactly the most saleable items these days.
200 rounds of military 7.62x39 isn't worth a whole awful lot. You likely won't need it for this rifle.

Not sure about the ammo as i haven,t even got the gun (if i do). No worries on the licence but thanks for the heads up.

Don,t really need to hear its worth what someone will pay, I know that. Was looking for a real world number from someone in canada who might have a idea.

For a wicked deal i thought $300 was a good price but he may go lower... If its not a easy sell i won,t bother with it.

BBq_Woa! why does the ammo have anything to do with having the gun?

to clarify, you can't shoot these anywhere in Canada.

I don,t buy ammo for a gun i don,t have. If your interested i can check what the details are.

Probly see if he,ll come down in price.

He might have an SKS or vZ-58 to feed? After all, who buys just one commie gun?
