Aksa R4 Review, aka 'Turknelli 2.0' and 500 shot report

And they sent me a coupon for 20$ off shipping when I didnt complete my order. Local CT has challenger at 87c before tax and I have a bunch of CT money so they're going to get my money on this one.

Quick update on the stock development: second prototype/geometry/ergonomics test really great results. Also designed a complete field stock, most similar to Hogue overmolded designs, which came out superb. Duplicating benelli's screw-on hardware should be easy, even without sample parts on hand, should I decide to develop further the one-piece field stock... But I'll stick to fully developing the ultralight adjustable stock first, then proceed to the two-piece ultralight magazine next (low hanging fruit).

450-500 grams weight reduction combined is the goal for these two custom accessories.

For the custom furniture parts, both Polycarb-ABS and Carbon Fibre-ABS blends are being tested (Both have their perks, I've used the Carbon-ABS for another sporting goods product line and really like that material).

Any other longer term / higher round count reports out there?

I'm still suffering with mine..

It's doing the double feed issue, that another guy had explained in this post.. It feeds two shells onto the shell carrier, than locks them up, as it can't raise one onto the feed ramp into the chamber.

It's also not ejecting at all.. The shells will cycle back, then attempt to re-enter the chamber, and jam up.

Almost every round has to be manually cycled.. I've tried Winchester, Federal, garbage challenger, everything from 8 shot to 00 buck.

At this point I'm wondering if I should sell it cheap.

Great write up, right down to business, no filler.

Regarding the finish... I have to say, I'm not too impressed by my Benelli M4's finish to be quite honest. Mine looks like it's been through a battle, and I actually take care of my stuff. (Read: not abuse)
My Mossbergs, Remingtons, and other black rifles do not display the external wear and tear that my M4 has despite many more rounds, years of ownership, # of outings to various environments.

I'm aware this isn't a thread about the actual M4, but I think it's worth it to note the gun this shotgun is cloned off of, isn't perfect either; perhaps it's TOO good of a clone in that department. :)
